French Toast with Brandied Lemon Butter
4 Eggs 2 tb + 1 ts sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1 c Whole milk 1/4 ts Vanilla extract 12 Thick slices of bread that -Have been cut and left out -Overnight to dry out Butter Powdered sugar, optional Mix together eggs, sugar, salt, milk and vanilla. Dip bread slices in liquid and fry in skillet until set. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. |
